Gourmet seasoning blends for the busy cook.Hi, I'm Kathy Fazio.

Sassy Seasonings started in my kitchen located in Oceanside, California. I made Christmas gifts one year for family and friends and everyone was asking for more! I love to cook and hate to spend a lot of time in the kitchen and so began the Gourmet blends for the busy cook!

Enjoy the natural flavors, the low sodium and the ease of cooking healthy and delicious without a lot of time!

Sassy Seasoning: A wonderful and tasty almond based all purpose seasoning. This seasoning is made with fresh almonds (there are twice as many almonds as any other seasoning in the blend), chicken bouillon, dried parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion flakes, seasoned salt and other natural spices. Use this seasoning on just about everything (except Ice Cream) and stop going into your spice cabinet pulling out and opening all those jars!

Why Add Almonds? Almonds were introduced to California in the mid 1700's. They are California's largest nut crop in both dollars and acreage; 7th largest food export. The state's 6,000 almond growers produce 100% of the commercial domestic supply & 80% of the world's supply. The most significant health finding is the almond's role in the prevention of heart disease. A recent study conducted in Modesto, CA suggests that regular almond consumption lowers blood pressure & cholesterol. They are an excellent source of protein & calcium and most of the fat is mono-unsaturated. Higher in dietary fiber & calcium than any other nut and also rich in vitamin E and Magnesium.

Cajun Blend: A rich blend of paprika, thyme, cayenne pepper and other natural ingredients. Just enough cayenne to spice up your meal without burning your innards! No Salt, No MSG, No Artificial Ingredients. This seasoning has been approved by quite a few New Orleans residents!

Rainbow Bean Soup: A blend of 5 layers of beans; kidney, black, lentils, green pea and northern along with a low sodium seasoning packet that will please your pallet. Just add water and a can of tomatoes (or some of those good ole home grown tomatoes chopped in your blender).

Wild Rice & Barley Soup: A blend of wild rice, barley, soy bacon bits, minced onions along with a low sodium seasoning packet. This soup is ready in one-hour!

Pasta Fagioli Soup: My heritage is Italian so I could not resist sharing my family's recipe of this light, vegetarian, low sodium and delicious soup!

Apricot Jalapeno Jam: A delicate blend of dried apricots and jalapenos. This jam is available in "mild" or "caliente" for those who can handle a little more spice!
